Dr Stephanie de Giorgio is a portfolio GP who now works as Clinical Lead for an Urgent Treatment Centre. She has special clinical interests in Obesity and Women’s Health and works nationally on peer support and education on both topics. She teaches GP Update courses for NB Medical. In March 2020 she developed presumed covid and has been living with the symptoms of long covid ever since, as has her younger daughter. This has led her to become personally and professionally interested in this post-viral phenomenon and how we can ensure patients with it are treated with empathy and expertise.
